I came in nice and early again.. :/ I do not enjoy being up at 7.
Went to the studio and steamed the clothes ready for the next shoots. Which makes me very hot.. and I dont think Im best steamer but Im getting there.
Theres new clothes coming in all the time, so theres some clothes needed to be reshot running over from yesterday.. basically the clothes go in a big circle, they get brought in from the warehouse to the sample coordinators aka Jen and Hannah, who sort them out with new and reshoots, and then get put in order to which to be shot etc. The new clothes get detail shots and catwalked, and the reshoots dont need details but get catwalked, theres lots of walking back and forth from the photography area to the catwalk. Exercise lovey!

The stylists do the same thing everyday really.. because there are so many clothes, and things are always new on the site. Its a nice chilled out environment everyones lovely.. and good friends, so its a laugh which is nice. No seriousness.
There are also concept shoots done, where the stylists can go wild and create looks that will simply be recreated on the inhouse photoshoots. The inhouse photos are really simple and only one accessory is allowed so that all the focus is on the clothes. Whereas the concept shoots are editiorials and give inspiration for the looks, so everyone knows the concept. I really want to be able to go onto one of those but so far none are being done this week :/
The first shoot. Aviator jackets.

The second photoshoot - Fur jackets
But in the afternoon we did do an editorial random photoshoot. There is a film set just outside the building being made a big blockbuster, 'Captian America' so we have all been perving and spying out the window! So the set is an old 1940's inspired downtown NY. Looks amazing. So we sneaked on set and took photos of the model is aviator jackets, and fur coats..made it looks 1940's. This was fun and we could style as we pleased. I felt very special with everyone stopping and taking pictures.
Lucas from spooks, I was very pleased to see him.
